On the way to the release

With the announcement of the release date and the release of the reveal trailer, we have embarked on the next stage of our journey together towards Transport Fever 2: Console Edition and game update for PC. We are delighted with the countless reactions and feedback to the video, pre-order launch and last week’s beta launch.

We look forward to sharing many more glimpses of the new features on our social media channels in the coming weeks, which will of course also be available as part of the big free game update for PC. The preview series starts today with the devblog, which describes the background of the new user interface for the controller controls.

It’s great to see the Transport Fever 2 community continue to grow and the Urban Games team is looking forward to the release on March 9. We hope you enjoy the upcoming news and are looking forward to your feedback.

  4. Will mod support be available at launch, or will it be delayed? As we know there are no issues with allowing mods on Xbox, as they’ve been allowed for years now by Xbox, and actively encouraged by Xbox boss Phil Spencer, to give players an expanded experience. Thankfully devs don’t treat console players as an afterthought as much now, and Dozens of games have full mod support. This is made even easier considering Xbox has hadfull Keyboard & mouse functionality for almost 10 years now, and with X-cloud full pc games are able to be streamed on Xbox. I truly hope you will be offering keyboard & mouse support, along with mods, so we can make our dream worlds & transport networks, as it’s understandable you guys can’t make every loco etc to please everyone, but modders have done that ( myself included) and I’d be happy to allow all my mods on Xbox & make the necessary functionality adjustments so everyone can enjoy the full TF2 experience you great devs crafted for us

    • Hallo Armin,
