Welcome to the Transport Fever 2 Modding Contest! The team at Urban Games wants to thank all Transport Fever 2 modders (and those who want to become one) and give something back to the community!
This contest is your chance to showcase your skills, bring your ideas to life, and compete for amazing prizes—including a share of the $4,500 prize pool and an exclusive opportunity to visit Urban Games for a sneak peek at what’s next.
Whether you’re crafting detailed vehicles, designing stunning buildings, or giving existing models a fresh look, the possibilities are endless. The only limit is your imagination!

Rules
Create an original mod and publish it on the mod.io in one of the following categories:
VEHICLES – Vehicles of any type (including multiple units) are allowed, even fictitious ones. The mods may only contain one vehicle, not a collection.
BUILDINGS – Stations, industries, town buildings and others with a foot print of at least 5×5 meters.
REPAINTS – Repaints for any vehicle that is included in the Transport Fever 2 base game.
Submission
Mods entered into this contest must…
- be a new mod and exclusively uploaded on mod.io before April 10th 2025 23:59 CET
- be completely self-made by the author (no bought or “borrowed” assets or textures)
- fulfill the mod.io upload rules and must be console compatible according to the console modding guidelines
- be tagged with the “Modding Contest 2025” tag
Voting:
The winners will selected by our amazing team at Urban Games.
Timeline:
- Start of the modding contest: March 3rd 2025 16:00 CET
- Upload window for mods open until: April 10th 2025 23:59 CET
- Winner announcement: 21st of April 2025
Miscellaneous
- This contest is hosted by mod.io – winners will be contacted by mod.io.
- Urban Games can exclude any mod from the contest, for example if a rule is broken, though no reasons need to be given for exclusion.
