  1. No AI players please!. Underground or metro building. Tourist attractions for the little people, greater involvement with them (as in Planet Coaster), and what about Containers they are everywhere in the real world there is no sign of them in the vanilla version (which is the only one I will use).

  2. Day and night cycle (love to some lights lit in the passenger coach especially inside the train and planes :)), some AI competitors see keep on our toes, and buy one them. Some more features that can attract more passengers. Also the demand of products for each city should be dynamic (based on decades perhaps). Finished products and raw materials should be more range (if possible).
Last but not least, passenger ferry seems not attractive enough to increase passenger demand why?

  3. I hope that there will be something done with outside connections. Like ocean liners in the early days. Later on planes. And some international trains too neighboring fictional countries. And of course in and export of cargo

  5. I just wish that when i great a new line not become a flashbang in my face when the linemanager is open, pls get into the Option a function to get that snow out of them..

  6. For hard mode: Timetables, so we can have trains arrive and depart neatly without having to wait outside the station for a free platform. Look at the diagrams in the Edward Tufte book, I think it’s called ‘Envisioning information’, for how japan railways visualise these for an idea for an idea of how to do the UI.

Also, the ability to detach the locomotive and run round to the front of the train (via a turntable for a steam hauled express) instead of the train flipping direction automatically.

  8. Could the Devs pls confirm if a console version of TF2 is even a possibility? Is any current console capable of running the largest sized maps at a reasonable frame rate, in the mid/late game? If so, I’d definitely be interested.

  9. Please consider adding a walk/drive mode similar to what Mashinky added in their previous update. It could be really cool to just walk around randomly generated cities, or go for a drive down the country side, or even run some cargo personally.

  10. Please also consider adding a day/night cycle and dynamic weather. It gets old seeing the same time of day all the time and changing the environment through debug is just annoying.. Thanks for your work, I really enjoy your game.

    Weiter so!

    Liebe Grüße aus DD

  12. Bahnhof Ansagen!!!

  14. I would love to have an asset such as a highway toll, if with the new update the roads can be mine or govts I’m sure everyone would be happy to maintain the roads with an income from the tolls. Cause sometimes the maintenance gets more expensive and expensive. Hope you read me!

  16. We need someone to compete against, whether the AI, or multiplayer where we can compete against a friend, or possibly even ourselves running a second company? Again just an idea…but do this and this game will become the ultimate game IMO…

  17. The game really need to have the option to play goal-driven free play maps, or AI players, or (ideally) both. I don’t think the game is ever going to feel particularly tycoon-y so long as it’s just a solo sandbox game. Goals and competition are innate components of running a business.

It doesn’t need to be complicated. I was always perfectly fine with Transport Tycoon’s model of “game ends at year X, everyone gets a score.” And the AI players don’t even need to be on the same map–it could be an abstract thing where you are competing against rival companies that are operating in other, unseen regions. AI competitors on the same map is obviously a lot more interesting, but also a lot harder to execute.

Either way, I think those two elements, in some form, are what’s needed if you want to offer a more tycoon-oriented game mode.

      • Naja.

  20. first i want to thank the game developers for this wonderful game.

however, there are a few things missing.

first of all when u lay down track with overhead wiring at the switches it makes no sense.

Maybe something like a timetable or a priority systems so u can give certain lines priority over other lines.
unlike now. The train that comes first goes first

  21. I played the first Train Fver and Transport Fever a lot and liked them.

For some reason I really don’t like Transport Fever 2: it is nice (as a nice virtual trainset), but the economic gameplay is really broken and I don’t feel any pressure or satisfaction to play.

I’m glad you will tackle this aspect of the game. It does not have to be an AI or multiplayer (it would be nice if done well, but I think the game does not lend to that), but make a hard mode really hard so that one actually has to somewhat optimize things.

Things that I hope you address are:
    – pricing model (it is absurd to have a fixed price * distance: it leads to favor the longest roads)
    – pricing based on maximum theoretical speed (again just absurd)
    – a harsher impact of level of service on the demand (and/or price)
    – higher maintenance for egnines (especially older engines) and infrastructure
    – a better profit and loss statement
