  1. Wow.

  3. Transport Fever is my most played game. I’ve logged 2640 hours on it which is 1000 more than my second most played game. I hope TF2 will be good enough to break that record! But this right here is the first game announcement I’ve been excited about since Rome Total War, over a decade ago…

  4. I would prefer that single-player campaigns for the development of the game itself and the sandbox mode (free game) be abandoned. Campaigns can be added in the future in DLC. I would like more vehicles. Very good as it would be to design your own vehicles. My little wish is Polish rolling stock, including Pesa DART.

    • I think you’ll find your idea of getting rid of free play as very distant from the core of this game’s fans. However, it would be cool if the devs add the ability to mod campaigns, that way the very very strong (existing) modders can put their talents to story telling and creativity.

I may be wrong, but i heard mention of multiplayer capabilities? That would be cool, but not at the expense of the single player game.

This trailer looks amazing, very excited!

      Also kein Koreanisch

  5. For years i’m having a lot of fun with railroad fever and transport fever. We’ve been looking forever for such a game with multiplayer capability. Will that finally be added in this game? Sid Meier’s Railroads was the last one which we had a lot of fun with amongst friends.

  6. I am happy that TF has a sequel.

Just my four wishes (now that developers my still think about them)

    1) I hope the economic and city simulation model will be better than TF from both economics (give us a proper income statement and don’t just calculate transport prices as fixed amount based on theoretical speed * linear distance that give an absurd economic incentive to transport from the farther possible) and simulation point of view (I actually liked the citizen maximum travel time simulation of Train Fever more than the one of Transpoft Fever, but hope that it will be less CPU intensive)

    2) I hope there will be better information displays (e.g. where citizens want to go, transport usage by area etc.)

    3) I hope there will be some AI to compete with

    4) I hope the game will not be that much lagging (CPU intenstive) and allow us to disable unnecessary gimmicks like individually simulated animals.

Anyway I wish you a good game development.

  8. Looks awesome !
Can’t wait Q4 of 2019. Hoping for an alpha test made available to us.
It’s very appreciated that you guys, at Urban Games are close to your community.

Looking forward for some new informations about the game ! 😀

  9. You guys have been busy 🙂

More accessible level terrain editing is no bad thing, for sure, but I’m hoping you haven’t abandoned random terrain generation – and ideally have improved it further?

Also hoping you’ve got some kind of track-planning mode in there this time, so I don’t have to jury-rig a mod to do it again 😛

Looking fantastic anyways. Things have come so far since Train Fever – It’s a joy to see a developer on a consistent upward trajectory!

  11. The trailer looks amazing! The world in transport fever 1 looks very barren, in TS2 there are forests, fields etc. It looks very good. I just hope that the game has a better economy than TS1. That is the most important aspect for me to be honest.

  13. Can you please consider console version this time please?
If you dont want to do it by yourself, porting can be usually outsourced.

    Thanks a lot

(for anybody who wants to add “console can not hande it” “controls can not work on gamepad” I will jsut point out, that whole Cities Skylines is running great on both consoles.)

  14. Hallo liebes Urban-Games-Team,

  16. Hi please add in better signalling options for trains such as distance signals and also platform junction signals

Also I have found it hard to attract passengers to air transport so better usage of air transport would be great.

Adding in options for platforms for trains would be great, so if a primary platform at the station is full they can use a secondary platform option, as per the real world.

Allocation of land for development of industrial, commercial or homes would be great as well.

Option to split trains on a route so the train could be divided and do two routes on less busy line.

Can we add in first and standard class coaches and passengers plus restaurant cars to help increase revenue.

Better tools for landscaping as well as making an area level for a large station can be arduous.

    Thanks 🙂

    • Very good ideas. I play the no cost sandbox way as i like to plan and build railways and see them develop. I don’t like money games just playing trains.

Also generell der Faktor Strom.

  20. First thank you UrbanGames – TF gave me 1400+ hours of pleasure, instead of war/shooting – you made great creative game and have community of very talented modders and asset makers! That also tells a lot about the game.
Please put efforts to release macOS version (on Steam). I am sure lots of users would be willing to pre-purchase, take my money now!

  21. I dont think it would run on my Mac unless I could disable money calculations that I dont use in my no costs games. I build railway systems. Mostly passenger as I find the freight too tiresome and strangely can’t take coal to a power station?
It is in my opinion THE best railway simulation and I’ve played them all. I dont like driving trains for miles/hours in a cab but like to build then experience my creations as a passenger. Tweaking junctions to run better make the game so addictive to me. The dodders are fantastic. Great stuff has been produced. So for the time being ill put up with masts in the wrong place and the very few other niggles. If it aint broke dont fix it.

  22. I like Transport Fever just find no need to make same game again with better graphics and charge it again.
The next step supposed to be co-op or multiplayer not rehash the same old game. Nothing new there.

  26. I hope this new game will add a lot more then only better graphics. I hope there will be a lot of new features for a lot of new gameplay. especcialy the economics can use a lot more realism and depth.

  27. One of the features you highlight is coming to TF2 is – Detailed game world with physics-based lighting – I am wondering is that going to use Ray Trace technology like Nvidia’s or is it light simulation done with your own “technology” so to speak.

  29. Hi. I am looking forward to the next instalment!

    3 Questions:
    – Will there be an update of the renderer to Vulkan/Metal?
    – Could you better document the mission scripting? Some stuff was never properly documented in TF (MissionUtil?)
    – How about proper multicore support?

    Stephan

  30. Hi.
I really like the game and I want to collaborate selflessly in what I can.
The game is called “TRANSPORTATION” Fever, so it’s about transporting things.
It would be fun to reflect the complexity of the real world. For that, it is necessary to generate a network of connections between different factories, farms and mines that are found in most cities.

Create a diagram of psoble connections and the creation of 3 elements in the cities that distribute These merchandise, (Stores, Markets and Warehouse). I would like to be able to send you the diagram to a mail

I’m sorry for my regular English. I hope you are interested in the idea.
    Friendly greetings.

  33. Windows: Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64-bit)
    Mac: OS X 10.12.6. or higher (64-bit)
Linux: Ubuntu 16.04 or higher (64-bit)

As Mac is my primary platform I very welcome the addition of linux.
If you get this right, it will have big impact on future games (all of them – not joking, there are next to none good games, that have tripple plattform support).

    I have now high expectations.

Mission set in China please! Build high-speed railway network!
Automatical rail signal placement would be great!
